Learning... a topic that has no end and no beginning. As an individual that is currently in grad school I can appreciate the life long journey of learning. Every new experience is an opportunity to expand yourself and learn something exciting about others. I am excited to begin this learing experience with all of you.
Each of the 7 1/2 habits are helpful but the two that make the most impact for me include #6 and #3.
Let's start with the easiest for me... #3- View Problems as Challenges. This goes right to my motto... When Life Throws You Lemons, Make Lemonade! Sounds totally trite and ridiculous I know but I think this can apply for Habit # 3. If you only view problems as obstacles you can never really grow and learn by solving them. If you huff and puff and agonize over the immediate problem at hand you never get the chance to back up, put it into perspective and take a lesson from the journey you took to find the solution.
How about the hardest habit... #6- Use Technology to your advantage. Sounds simple but it's not! I've been lost in the world of technology time and time again but I know I can persevere and find the light at the end of the tunnel. I know the world is literally at my fingertips with the wonderful world of the web. I must lock down, be persistent and find a way to master the tools that developers have poured their blood, sweat and tears into providing for us. TLC is my chance to put it all to the test and take it for a spin!! :)
